Run around Iceland With our iOS and Android mobile app, you can watch another part of a story as you complete each stage. The further you go, the more there is to see: 23 illustrated and animated attractions from Iceland’s world of nature, culture, history and sport.

Measure your results on app You can measure the results of your runs via GPS or manually with the iOS and Android raceXplus app. If you are not satisfied with any of your results, just delete it and run the distance again.

Who is it meant for?
We provide for beginner and amateur athletes a stunning mixture of sport and storytelling experience to get motivation and inspiration. Perfect choice if you can’t travel, want to avoid the crowd, want to increase your endurance, want to be the part of the virtual athletes’ community and want to get a stunning medal for your achievement.

What do I need to join a virtual run?
First, you need to have good health conditions to exercise and willingness to complete a run. You will also need a debit or credit card to subscribe and an Android or iOS mobile phone to submit your results through our mobile app. That’s all! Have fun.

Where can I complete my run?
You can complete it anywhere you want, like in your house, around your neighborhood or a nearby park. Don’t forget to stay safe during your exercise!

How much time do I have to complete the virtual run?
It’s based on your pace. You can complete the run within a day as a single session or within weeks or months as multiple sessions. Your challenge will be completed once you reached the total distance and it has been recorded to our system via the raceXplus app. Faster you complete it, earlier you will get your medal as a gift. If it’s not completed within 12 months after registration, your challenge will be automatically closed.

How to receive my medal?
After completed the run, we are mailing you the Aurora Borealis medal to your registered address.

How to get my perks?
On our website you can find a selected collection of vouchers and discount coupons under the Perks section. All the active perks accessible once you registered. The coupons can be used in our partners’ site or store as per their T&C.
